Product information "Organic guar gum 3500"

Organic guar gum is a natural alternative to starch to thicken food. This natural product is 8 times more effective than conventional corn starch binders and produces a soft, gentle and homogeneous texture

It is obtained from the seeds of the guar bean, which is grown mainly in northwestern India and western Pakistan. The almost odourless and tasteless vedickungsmittel is soluble in both cold and hot food and is therefore suitable for a variety of preparations.

Guar gum is particularly suitable for:

Similar to lactose products, guar gum in sauces and dressings ensures that solid components do not separate from liquid components. Guar gum prevents the formation of ice crystals during the production of ice cream. Products which are mixed with guar gum thicken and obtain a creamy consistency.

The specification 5000 cps. describes the viscosity of the product. The higher the viscosity, the thicker the product becomes when mixed with water or liquid. There are two common VIskosities for guar gum: 3500 cps and 5000 cps. 3500 cps is designated as normal viscosity.

Application

In recipes starch can be replaced by guar gum. The amount of 1/8 of the otherwise used starch is sufficient for guar gum with a viscosity of 3500 cps.

Shelf life and storage

When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least 2 years after the production date.

Our products are always packaged in pre-packaged packages marked with a batch number and an MHD (imprint or additional label). Until the date of the MHD, the manufacturer guarantees the product's unchanged properties in terms of appearance, taste and processing behaviour. It is not an expiration date as is the case with fresh produce, for example.

The origin of our products

Raw materials are subject to strict quality controls, which we naturally adhere to. When selecting suppliers in Germany and the countries of origin, we ensure that all European standards are met, that the products are tested in the laboratory and that the analytical data comply with the strict product specifications. Our suppliers have many years of experience and all the certifications required to ensure consistently high quality (e.g. ISO 22000, IFS, BRC, FSSC or similar). We regularly audit our suppliers on site in order to convince ourselves of these high standards and to control all processes in the supply chain.

We focus on sustainability and want to meet the highest demands. That is why Golden Peanut offers you products of German quality. All products, which originally come from different countries all over the world, are checked in Germany for residues and carefully controlled. Only if a perfect quality is determined, the raw materials are processed further in Germany or filled into finished packages. In order to ensure marketability, we have our product labels checked for correct declaration before they are placed on the market.

Sehr gut.

Guakernmehl hat schon lange Tradition in unserer Küche. Da noch in Bioqualität - bin sehr zufrieden. Achtung, es mildert - meiner Meinung nach - den vorhandenen Geschmack etwas. Das kann - bei Überwürzung - natürlich auch von Vorteil sein. Ansonsten noch ein paar Kräuter zum Nachwürzen dazugeben.

Soßen, Dips, Suppen, Desserts und Fruchtmus zum andicken.

Sehr zufrieden, klare Kaufempfehlung?. Sparsam anwenden. Guarkernmehl. Ist ein Verdickung- und Bindemittel. Es ist ein natürliches pflanzliches Bindemittel, welches als Ersatz von Eigelb verwendet wird, auch für Soßen, Dips, Suppen, Desserts und Fruchtmus zum verdicken, als auch die Konsistenz von Brot und Backwaren auflockern, zudem bleiben die Backwaren länger frisch. Für eine leichte Bindung nimmt man 1 gestrichenen Teelöffel Guarkernmehl auf 250 ml Flüssigkeit für Kaltspeisen. Für Suppen und Saucen verwendet man ca. 2 gestrichene Teelöffel auf 250 ml Flüssigkeit. Für Backwaren setzt man pro kg Mehl ca. 1 gestrichenen Teelöffel Guarkernmehl ein.
