Lavender - whole flowers dried
Who does not know the lavish purple fields of lavender that stretch like a purple carpet through the landscape in Provence? But lavender not only looks pretty, it's also a popular herb with many properties. The dried flowers were already used in ancient Rome as a bath additive or for washing laundry because of their extraordinary, calming, yet intense scent. The blue-violet flowers of the lavender bush are not only an intensely fragrant feast for the eyes, but are also attractive in taste and can be used as a raw material for tea or as a natural flavor additive. Today you can usually find lavandin, a hybrid of real lavender and tall spear lavender, in the vast fields. However, it is not suitable for consumption because it has a slightly soapy taste. The Speiklavender is mainly used for the production of dried flowers and decorative items and is often colored purple with color pigments. The real lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) originally comes from the Mediterranean region. It only grows in warm regions and especially on dry, rocky slopes. Most of the time, real lavender can be found in the higher regions that are pampered by the sun. Lavender prefers a mild climate, but today's varieties also feel good in our latitudes. You can often find lavender as a companion to roses in the home garden, as the fragrances keep pests away. Lavender is a popular herb for preparing tea or fine meals, but because of the essential oils it is also used for the production of high-quality cosmetics or in the pharmaceutical industry, for example as an additive in care products such as creams, soaps, shampoos or in the production of perfumes. Only real lavender can be used for these applications. The Golden Naturals® lavender flowers are untreated, real lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) in food quality, which still contains all essential oils and has an intense scent. The product is suitable for consumption and does not contain any colorings, preservatives or additives. Also, Golden Naturals® lavender flowers are not treated with hairspray or spray varnish to preserve their purple color. We completely refrain from coloring the flowers, which naturally fade more and more over the course of the weeks after they have dried. The lavender flowers are harvested from June to September as soon as flowering begins. If the lavender is to be used for the production of oil or as a raw material for tea, it is only harvested when the plant is in full bloom. Depending on the growing area and the size of the farm, it is harvested by hand or with special harvesting machines. The woody part of the stalk at the top of the branch and the remains of the herb are harvested as well, as it contains a large part of the valuable essential oils that are required in the production of lavender oil or for making tea. Then the lavender branches are gently dried at 30 - 45 ° C. In doing so, they slowly lose their purple color until they are almost completely gray-brown about 6 months after harvest. The fragrance and the good ingredients, however, are retained for at least 2 years after production. After drying, the dry parts of the plant around the flowers gradually disintegrate and, if the product has already been filled, settle on the bottom of the container. However, they are not waste, but contribute a considerable part to the fact that the lavender flowers smell wonderful. For example, they can be used to make tea. However, they should stay in the colander as they are hard and straw-like. Application tip from our cooking team: Golden Naturals® lavender flowers are versatile. They are suitable as a delicious decoration on cakes, pastries or ice cream and, like other spices, can be used in food preparations. However, they should always be moistened well before consumption, otherwise they are very hard. In tea, soups, sauces and dough, lavender softens by itself when it is enriched with liquid.

Bio Baobab Powder
Bio Baobab powder is obtained from the fruit of the baobab tree, which is native to the savannahs of Africa. The Baobab tree is considered to be the primary rock among the trees. It can live for several thousand years, can reach a height of up to 25 m and the diameter of the huge canopy can be more than 20 metres. It takes about 20 years for a baobab tree to flower for the first time. Only then do fruits form, which hang like lanterns in the branches. The tree is one of the most important food sources for humans and animals, as it can store water and contains many nutrients. The fruit powder can be produced without auxiliary agents or additives as the Baobab fruit contains very dry and brittle fruit flesh. The fruit is not harvested until it has completely dried out so that the fibres can be ground directly. Baobab powder has a fruity, sweet-sour taste. It is therefore ideal for refining dishes of all kinds, for smoothies, as a topping for ice cream, salads, desserts and juices or simply stirred into dairy products or water.

Collagen IQ Peptide Pure Boost
Collagen is a structural protein that occurs naturally in the human body - particularly in connective tissue, skin, bones and cartilage. As an important component of the body's own proteins, it plays a central role in the strength and elasticity of various types of tissue. The body produces collagen from amino acids such as glycine, proline and hydroxyproline, which it absorbs from food. With increasing age, however, the body's own collagen production decreases, which can lead to a breakdown of collagen in the connective tissue. Hydrolysis, i.e. the breakdown of collagen into smaller parts, produces collagen peptides. Bioactive collagen peptides are short chains of amino acids that are obtained from collagen. Bioactive collagen peptides are therefore a special form of these peptides that have been optimized through targeted manufacturing processes. Collagen hydrolyzate - as used for Collagen IQ Pure Boost - is already enzymatically broken down so that it can be absorbed particularly well by the body. Collagen IQ Pure Boost from Golden Peanut® is a high-quality, bioactive collagen hydrolysate that is characterized by its purity, versatility and excellent solubility. The powder contains 100% pure type I and III collagen peptides and boasts a protein content of over 90%, completely free from fat, sugar and carbohydrates. Natural. Pure. Versatile. Thanks to its fine structure and innovative processing technology, Collagen IQ Pure Boost is dust-free, virtually tasteless and particularly easy to dissolve - ideal for your active everyday life. Whether in water, juice, milk alternatives, shakes, coffee or tea - the powder can be stirred in effortlessly and also harmonizes with foods such as yoghurt, pudding or soups. So you can easily increase your protein content - without compromising on taste. Premium quality meets innovation The special enzymatic breakdown of collagen into small peptides ensures a particularly fine texture with high bioavailability. Unwanted off-flavors are almost completely eliminated. There are no additives at all: no colorants, preservatives, flavors or other additives - for a product that delivers what it promises. Thanks to a special agglomeration process, the collagen powder is dust-free and is characterized by exceptionally good solubility. This ensures that our collagen dissolves effortlessly and evenly in hot and cold liquids without forming lumps. The outstanding quality of our collagen is tested and monitored by independent laboratories and certification bodies. The raw materials used come from species-appropriate animal husbandry. Produced in France and bottled in Germany to the highest quality standards - directly in our family business just outside Hamburg. These properties make our premium collagen a high-quality protein powder that not only optimally supports daily protein requirements, but also provides a pleasant, tasteless texture in a wide variety of recipes.

NUR BIO® Organic Acacia Fiber
Acacia fiber comes from the natural sap of the acacia tree, which is native to the warm regions of Africa. The resin, also known as “gum arabic,” emerges naturally when the bark of the trees has small cuts or cracks. The sap is collected by hand directly from the tree. It slowly hardens in the air into solid pieces. This traditional method is sustainable, as it does not damage the trees and allows them to continue producing sap for many years. After harvesting, the solid pieces of resin are carefully cleaned, freed of natural particles, and then gently dried. The raw material is then further processed in Germany: the dried material is ground into a fine, light-colored powder that consists of 90% fiber and is completely free of additives or auxiliary substances. The result is a natural, pure plant powder made in Germany that impresses not only with its high quality but also with its gentle extraction process.Nur Bio® Organic Acacia Fiber Powder is incredibly versatile: since it is tasteless, you can stir it into water, juice, or milk and enjoy your fiber drink without any worries. It is also ideal for mixing into smoothies, yogurt, muesli, or bowls. And for extra fiber in sweet and savory recipes, simply use organic acacia fiber as an ingredient in your favorite baking and cooking recipes.

Organic Maca Powder
The Maca plant was already an important part of the Incas' diet to recharge their batteries. It has been cultivated for centuries in the plateau (Lepedium peruvianum Chacon) of the Peruvian Andes. Golden Peanut Bio Maca Powder comes exclusively from the highest growing areas (Junin Plateau at about 4200 meters above sea level), where the most resistant plants grow. Today, Maca is an insider tip for nutritionists and athletes. Information about the origin: Raw material prices can fluctuate strongly depending on the product. A few years ago, the price of Maca powder skyrocketed to such an extent that Maca was hardly available on the European market. This was due to the fact that the Chinese bought almost all of the Peruvian crop yields in order to cultivate the product in China. Since the beginning of 2015, prices have fallen again and the new harvest is available on the world market Meanwhile, China also sells Maca powder grown there to Europe. Chinaware is very different from the Peruvian Maca root. There are significantly fewer vital substances contained, the smell and taste are completely different. Since Chinese maca has a rather unpleasant taste, the product is often stretched with dextrose. When buying Maca powder, make sure that the origin is stated. Only Maca powder from the Peruvian Andes has the much appreciated good qualities and is often called "power root" by connoisseurs.

Xanthan Gum
Xanthan gum is an additive approved by the EU and is used as a binder, thickener and stabilizer in food technology. In the creative kitchen, Xanthan Gum is used in dressings and sauces to stabilize oil/vinegar emulsions due to its properties. Whether mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, mustard or dry spice mixtures, almost anything that contains oil can be stabilized with xanthan gum. Continuee Possible applications are known, for example, in confectionery to improve the freezing and thawing stability of fine baked goods (cakes, pastries, pralines, ice cream). Ice cream should look creamy, so that it can live up to its name ice cream. By using xanthan gum, the mouthfeel of ice cream can be improved, without ice crystal formation, without the use of artificially produced binders. The whole thing takes place at the molecular level and the end product is not changed but improved. Xanthan gum is highly valued in molecular cuisine for its versatile properties. Xanthan Gum is a complex polysaccharide gum obtained by fermentation of carbohydrates with a pure culture of naturally occurring xanthomonas campestris. Due to its pseudoplasticity, xanthan is suitable as a stabilizer for emulsions, suspensions and foams.
