Glucosamine belongs to the group of amino monosaccharides. It occurs naturally in the human and animal body, for example in joint cartilage and connective tissue.

Glucosamine HCl has a significantly higher degree of purity than glucosamine sulfate. The product is free from additives such as preservatives, colorants, and anti-caking agents. It is practical to use as it is easily soluble.

Shelf life and storage

When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product can be kept for at least 2 years after the production date.

Until the best-before date, the manufacturer guarantees the unchanged properties of the product in terms of appearance, taste and behaviour during processing. This is not an expiry date, as is the case with fresh produce, for example.

Feeding recommendation

Horses:

Large horses: 6–8 g twice daily

Ponies and small horses: 5–6 g twice daily

Add glucosamine powder to concentrated feed.

Dogs and cats:

Small dogs and cats: 0.5–1 g twice daily

Medium-sized dogs: 1–2 g twice daily

Large dogs: 2–2.5 g twice daily

Add glucosamine powder to the usual feed.

Works well in combination with MSM powder and chondroitin powder.

Gutes Produkt fürs Pferd.

Ich füttere seit Monaten u.a. dieses Glucosamin meinem Pferd zu, da es Probleme mit Arthrose hat! Der wirksame Spiegel baut sich erst nach einigen Monaten auf, von daher ist eine konsequente Fütterung meiner Meinung nach empfehlenswert. Auch sollte dieses "Level" dann gehalten werden mit einer permanenten Fütterung des Glucosamin. Fakt ist, mein Pferd hat seitdem weniger Probleme, es stolpert deutlich weniger und auch die Arthrose-Gelenke sind nicht mehr warum und aufgeschwollen. Er wird täglich schonend bewegt. Ich hab den Eindruck er ist deutlich schmerzfreier und wieder lebensfroher geworden.
