Glucose powder

LIQUEUR SUGAR DRY GLUCOSE
Description

Product information "Glucose powder"

Golden Ingredients Dry glucose is obtained from starch by hydrolysis, similar to maltodextrin, so it is a starch saccharification product. Glucose is spray-dried and is a free-flowing, fine, white powder. It is almost tasteless and moderately sweet.

In the food industry and in the production of food supplements, dried glucose is also used as a thickener, filler, carrier or energy supplier. Beverages and spirits are often enriched with glucose because the product gives a pleasant mouthfeel.
We have designed the 10 kg packaging unit especially for our customers who need larger quantities. Glucose in a practical bag is easy to handle and ideal as a stock.

  • corresponds to approx. 1/3 of the sweetening power of household sugar
  • for making liqueur
  • for the simple production of glucose syrup
  • improves the taste of liqueur

Shelf life and storage

When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product can be kept for at least 2 years after the production date.

Our products are always packaged in pre-packaged containers that are marked with a batch number and a best-before date (imprint or additional label). Until the best-before date, the manufacturer guarantees the unchanged properties of the product in terms of appearance, taste and behaviour during processing. This is not an expiry date, as is the case with fresh produce, for example.

Erythritol
Golden Peanut Erythritol is a polyol (sugar alcohol) produced by the fermentation of glucose. Erythritol occurs naturally in small amounts in foods such as cheese, pears, watermelons and grapes as well as in fermented liquids such as wine or soy sauce It is suitable for diabetics as it has no influence on the blood sugar level. Erythritol has a glycemic index of 0, it is hardly metabolized by the body and is therefore classified as calorie-free. Erythritol, unlike sugar or other sweeteners, does not provide food for caries bacteria and is therefore considered tooth-friendly The sweetening power of erythritol compared to household sugar is about 70%. Cooking and baking recipes in which sugar is replaced by erythritol must be converted accordingly.
