Malte from "SWEETme" is a pure maltodextrin. It is perfect for enriching shakes and drinks with carbohydrates, as an energy addition in low-calorie dishes or as a pure energy supplier.

Maltodextrin is a carbohydrate (polysaccharide) and is usually found in rice, grain, cereals and potato starch. It is obtained from vegetable starch and broken down with the help of enzymes. The value DE 15 describes the saccharification value. This quickly digestible source of energy provides 4 calories per gram and therefore has a high glycemic index (GI). This means that it causes blood sugar levels to rise rapidly after ingestion.

Maltodextrins are water-soluble carbohydrate mixtures that are also used as thickeners, stabilizers, fillers, fat substitutes and carriers.

Our Malte Maltodextrin DE 15 is produced in Europe by enzymatic hydrolysis of wheat starch. This process is gentle on the product and all important ingredients are retained.

Consumption recommendation

If you exercise a lot like Malte and want to add more energy to your diet, a maltodextrin product is just what you need! Mix 4 heaped tablespoons 1-3 times a day with your favorite foods and drinks.

A shake with 80 g (8 heaped tablespoons) of malt also goes down well directly after exercise.

Shelf life and storage

When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least 2 years after the production date.

Our products are always packaged in pre-packaged packages marked with a batch number and an MHD (imprint or additional label). Until the date of the MHD, the manufacturer guarantees the product's unchanged properties in terms of appearance, taste and processing behaviour. It is not an expiration date as is the case with fresh produce, for example.
