Product information "MSM Methylsulfonylmethane Powder"

MSM is the abbreviation for Methylsulfonylmethane. The substance belongs to the group of organic sulfur compounds (sulfones). Methylsulfonylmethane can be found in both vegetable and animal products. It is contained in relatively large quantities in milk, onions, sauerkraut and coffee, for example.

Enzymes and amino acids are formed by the absorption of organic sulphur. We ingest MSM with our daily food, but it is often destroyed by cooking, so that only minute amounts arrive in the body and can be processed there.

The degree of purity of MSM is important. Many products are offered which are enriched with fillers or trickle aids. Golden Peanut MSM has a very high degree of purity of at least 99.92%. It is a high purity product without additives. Please note that products that are offered without trickle aids have a higher purity but tend to clump. This does not represent a loss of quality and does not result from too long storage times. The lumps can easily be loosened by strong tapping or shaking.

Shelf life and storage

When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least 2 years after the production date.

Our products are always packaged in pre-packaged packages marked with a batch number and an MHD (imprint or additional label). Until the date of the MHD, the manufacturer guarantees the product's unchanged properties in terms of appearance, taste and processing behaviour. It is not an expiration date as is the case with fresh produce, for example.

Feeding recommendation

Horses:

Large horses: 5 to 10 g daily.

Ponies and small horses: 3 to 5 g daily added to concentrated feed.

Dogs and cats:

Small dogs and cats: 0.5–1 g daily.

Medium-sized dogs: 1 to 2.5 g daily.

Large dogs: 2.5–4 g daily.

As a guide: half a teaspoon is equivalent to approx. 2 g. A whole teaspoon is therefore equivalent to approx. 4 g.

Sehr zufrieden

Habe es auf anraten von meinem Tierheilpraktiger für meinen an Spondylose erkrankten Boxer bestellt. Seit dem er es Regelmäßig bekommt braucht er kaum Schmerzmittel.

Sehr gutes Produkt

Habe dieses Produkt für mein Pferd mit Methionin-Mangel gekauft, da es günstiger ist als die Pferde-MSM-Produkte. MSM wurde 6 Wochen gefüttert (langsam steigern!) und die Nachtestung ergab, dass der Mangel mittlerweile weg ist. Produkt hat also geholfen! Habe das Produkt auch über ein paar Wochen selbst genommen (in Saft eingerührt). Fand es recht geschmacksneutral. Ob es bei mir gewirkt hat oder einen Unterschied hervorgerufen hat, kann ich nicht beurteilen - dafür habe ich es vermutlich zu kurz eingenommen. Der Preis ist super und die Qualität top!
