Sweet Xenia from our SWEETme® clique loves natural food trends and is thrilled with the organic sweetness of xylitol. Organic xylitol is made from organic corn. Xenia knows: she pays attention to the origin and processing of the products. Our organic xylitol comes from controlled organic farming and the supply chain is strictly monitored from the farmer until it arrives at our warehouse near Hamburg. Organic xylitol is not only a low-calorie, delicious alternative to conventional sugar, but also helps maintain tooth mineralisation when consumed regularly. What's more, this organic sweetener is also a genuinely sweet option for diabetics because of its low glycaemic index.
Organic xylitol has 40% fewer calories than granulated sugar. In terms of taste and appearance, the sugar substitute is hardly distinguishable from conventional sugar. Xylitol is naturally found in many berries, fruits, vegetables, in the wood fibres of tree bark and in corn on the cob. For the production of Xenia, the sugar substitute is obtained by fermentation from certified organic and GMO-free corn.
Initially, xylitol was only known in the USA as an additive in the production of diet products. In the meantime, however, xylitol has also become a trend in Europe. This is mainly because xylitol helps maintain tooth mineralisation when consumed regularly. In food processing, the natural sugar substitute is therefore mainly used for the production of sugar-free chewing gum, toothpaste and dental care products. However, it is also used in the production of sweets, dragées and confectionery.
Xenia Organic Xylitol is also excellent for sweetening all kinds of certified organic food, in dietary food and dishes for diabetics. As an organic product, xylitol is our favourite among tooth-friendly sugar substitutes.

Xenia has a sweet tooth. She uses organic xylitol 1:1 like household sugar to add low-calorie sweetness to her favourite foods and drinks.
Sweet Xenia knows: the product can have a laxative effect if consumed in excess. Do not feed to animals.
Raw materials are subject to strict quality controls, which we naturally adhere to. When selecting suppliers in Germany and the countries of origin, we ensure that all European standards are met, that the products are tested in the laboratory and that the analytical data comply with the strict product specifications. Our suppliers have many years of experience and all the certifications required to ensure consistently high quality (e.g. ISO 22000, IFS, BRC, FSSC or similar). We regularly audit our suppliers on site in order to convince ourselves of these high standards and to control all processes in the supply chain.
We focus on sustainability and want to meet the highest demands. That is why Golden Peanut offers you products of German quality. All products, which originally come from different countries all over the world, are checked in Germany for residues and carefully controlled. Only if a perfect quality is determined, the raw materials are processed further in Germany or filled into finished packages. In order to ensure marketability, we have our product labels checked for correct declaration before they are placed on the market.
