Chia oil is the vegetable oil with the highest content of omega-3 fatty acids: a whopping 63% are contained in chia oil. It also naturally contains many antioxidants, for example chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid. Another special aspect of this oil is that the ORAC capacity (free radicals) for ordinary vegetable oils is about 1 umol /TE per ml, while Chia oil scores with an ORAC value of 9.6 umol/TE per ml.
Chia not only contains valuable omega-3, but also has an optimal ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 according to scientific studies.
Fats and oils are used throughout the world for both food and industrial purposes. Food applications account for the largest share (about three quarters) of global consumption, and the trend is increasing.
Today, influenced by the trend towards health-conscious diets, consumers are confused about the health value of saturated fatty acids, chemical contaminants in processed cooking oils and long ingredient lists. Industrially manufactured products are often overloaded with additives that are supposed to extend shelf life or provide better properties when cooking and frying.
NurBio® Organic Chia Oil is free from any additives. It is virgin cold-pressed from high-quality organic chia seeds from the best cultivation areas in South America. Chia oil still contains a few turbid substances despite filtration. This is not a quality defect, but a special quality feature.
In addition to the more well-known oil specialities such as olive oil, peanut oil, linseed oil or hemp oil, chia oil is a tasty and varied alternative.
The light yellow to golden yellow oil is almost odourless and has a pleasant, slightly nutty taste. It can be wonderfully combined with vegetables, raw vegetables, other neutral vegetable oils, vegetarian dishes and salads.

Organic Chia Oil 100 % from organic Chia seeds (Salvia hispanica) controlled organic cultivation.
Alpha-linolenic acid contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood. The positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 2 g alpha-linolenic acid.
Consume 2 g (equivalent to 1 tsp) daily on its own or simply add to salads, bowls or hot dishes and soups.
According to EFSA's implementing decision on the authorisation of an extension of the uses of products derived from Chia seeds (Salvia hispanica) as a novel food under Regulation (EC) No 258/97 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the consumption of Chia oil shall not exceed 2 g per day.
Raw materials are subject to strict quality controls, which we naturally adhere to. When selecting suppliers in Germany and the countries of origin, we ensure that all European standards are met, that the products are tested in the laboratory and that the analytical data comply with the strict product specifications. Our suppliers have many years of experience and all the certifications required to ensure consistently high quality (e.g. ISO 22000, IFS, BRC, FSSC or similar). We regularly audit our suppliers on site in order to convince ourselves of these high standards and to control all processes in the supply chain.
We focus on sustainability and want to meet the highest demands. That is why Golden Peanut offers you products of German quality. All products, which originally come from different countries all over the world, are checked in Germany for residues and carefully controlled. Only if a perfect quality is determined, the raw materials are processed further in Germany or filled into finished packages. In order to ensure marketability, we have our product labels checked for correct declaration before they are placed on the market.
