Coconut sugar is a genuine natural product and is still obtained in the traditional way. The sugar is made from the flower nectar of the coconut plant. This is slowly and gently boiled down until the mass thickens and then dried until it acquires its typical sugar grain. Our coconut blossom sugar is not refined.
The sugar comes from smallholder farms in Indonesia. The goods are strictly monitored from production to arrival at our warehouse near Hamburg. The filling takes place in our family business. Here, the goods are carefully weighed and packed by hand for our customers.
Organic coconut blossom sugar is characterised by its matt brown colour and fine grain. At first glance, it looks a little like cane sugar and has a subtle caramel or vanilla note, but does not taste of coconut. Unlike ordinary table sugar, coconut sugar contains numerous micronutrients such as iron, potassium and zinc. It has a low glycaemic index and is therefore a great alternative for those who want to eat a calorie-conscious diet.
This sprinkle sweetener is ideal for cooking, baking, seasoning, tea, milk and smoothies. The sweetening power is slightly lower than that of regular sugar, but scores 100% with its delicious caramel flavour.

The caramel-like flavour of blossom sugar is ideal for sweetening food and drinks, and gives desserts and sweet dishes that certain something. There are no limits to your sweet ideas. Organic coconut sugar can be used 1:1 like raw sugar. However, it has a slightly lower sweetening power than household sugar and dissolves somewhat more slowly.
Raw materials are subject to strict quality controls, which we naturally adhere to. When selecting suppliers in Germany and the countries of origin, we ensure that all European standards are met, that the products are tested in the laboratory and that the analytical data comply with the strict product specifications. Our suppliers have many years of experience and all the certifications required to ensure consistently high quality (e.g. ISO 22000, IFS, BRC, FSSC or similar). We regularly audit our suppliers on site in order to convince ourselves of these high standards and to control all processes in the supply chain.
We focus on sustainability and want to meet the highest demands. That is why Golden Peanut offers you products of German quality. All products, which originally come from different countries all over the world, are checked in Germany for residues and carefully controlled. Only if a perfect quality is determined, the raw materials are processed further in Germany or filled into finished packages. In order to ensure marketability, we have our product labels checked for correct declaration before they are placed on the market.
