Akticolon® Plus – when practical comes with a little extra
With Akticolon®, we wanted to make feeding psyllium husks easier in everyday stable life: pellets instead of loose husks, ready to feed and no pre-soaking required. With Akticolon® Plus, we took that idea one step further. You get the convenient pellet form of Akticolon® together with selected components such as yeast product, bentonite and vitamins B1, B2 and B6 in one carefully formulated product.
Psyllium husks form the basis – then comes the Plus
Psyllium husks are still at the heart of Akticolon® Plus. They are processed into low-dust, ready-to-feed pellets and combined with a yeast product from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, sugar beet molasses, bentonite and added vitamins B1, B2 and B6.
This means you do not have to combine and portion these components separately every day – Akticolon® Plus brings them together in one product.
No soaking – that stays the same with Plus
Of course, we wanted to keep the most practical advantage of Akticolon®: Akticolon® Plus does not need to be soaked or pre-swollen. Simply measure the recommended amount and add the pellets directly to your horse's regular feed.
No extra bucket of water, no waiting for swelling and no large soaked mixture to prepare – especially in everyday stable life, this can make feeding considerably easier.
One product instead of several individual components
If you feed several complementary feeds, the feed room can quickly fill up with tubs, buckets and bags. Akticolon® Plus combines psyllium husks, yeast product, sugar beet molasses, bentonite and B vitamins in one product, helping to make your daily feeding routine more straightforward.
Pellets designed to fit into your stable routine
Akticolon® Plus comes in a low-dust pellet form and can simply be mixed with your horse's usual feed. There are no light, loose psyllium husks to measure out and no soaked mixture to prepare. Measure, add to the feed – done.

Feeding Recommendation
Large horses (600 kg): 50 g daily.
Small horses, ponies and foals: 30 g daily.
Simply add the pellets directly to your horse's concentrate feed. No soaking or pre-soaking is required.
One measuring cup corresponds to approx. 40 g Akticolon® Plus.
Shelf Life and Storage
When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least 1 year from the date of production.
Our products are supplied in prepacked packaging marked with a batch number and best-before date (printed directly on the packaging or provided on an additional label). When stored correctly, the manufacturer guarantees that the product will retain its characteristics in terms of appearance, taste and processing properties until the stated best-before date. A best-before date is not an expiry date as used, for example, for highly perishable fresh foods.

The ripe seeds are harvested and processed into various qualities. Psylliumcontain valuable mucilages that swell when they come into contact with water. Especially in the case of the yellow IndianPsyllium, the peel, in which the swelling substances lie, can be easily separated from the seed. This is how they discovered a completely new product - the Psyllium Husksone that has 5 times the source volume of the whole seed.
