Chia seeds (Salvia hispanica) belong to the family of labiates and sage plants and are native to Mexico. They are still relatively unknown in Germany. In their homeland, on the other hand, the Aztecs used it as a staple food thousands of years ago.

Chia seeds, like Psylliumvaluable mucilaginous substances, swell to a gel when combined with water and increase their weight by a factor of nine to ten. They are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and many other vital substances. Shelf life and storage

When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least 2 years after the production date.

Our products are always packaged in pre-packaged packages marked with a batch number and an MHD (imprint or additional label). Until the date of the MHD, the manufacturer guarantees the product's unchanged properties in terms of appearance, taste and processing behaviour. It is not an expiration date as is the case with fresh produce, for example.

täglich 1-3 EL über Salat, Früchte oder Brotaufstriche streuen oder in Smoothies, Müsli, Suppen, Joghurt oder Backmischungen geben.

Laut Durchführungsbeschluss der EFSA über die Genehmigung einer Erweiterung der Verwendungszwecke von Chia Samen (Salvia hispanica) als Novel Food gemäß der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 258/97 des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates, darf die Verwendung nicht mehr als 10% in Backwaren, Frühstückscerealien, Nuss- und Fruchtmischungen betragen. Bei Verzehr von Chia Samen (Salvia hispanica) als Monoprodukt darf die Menge von 15 g pro Tag nicht überschritten werden.

Wir bestellen immer wieder Chia Samen bei Golden Peanut. Preis-/Leistung stimmt einfach. Ob im Müsli, im Salat, im Shake und sogar in Eiscreme kommen bei uns Chia Samen rein. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
