Chia Seeds Black & White – Salvia hispanica

FOR MUESLI, BOWLS, CHIA PUDDING AND BAKING RECIPES
Description

Product information "Chia Seeds Black & White – Salvia hispanica"

Chia seeds – small, versatile and surprisingly adaptable

Some ingredients make it especially easy to use them in a different way every day. Chia is exactly that kind of ingredient. Add it to your morning muesli, turn it into a creamy chia pudding, sprinkle it over a bowl or mix it into homemade bread – these tiny seeds fit around your ideas rather than telling you how to use them. Golden Peanut® Chia Seeds consist of 100% black and white Salvia hispanica seeds. Their pleasantly mild flavour works equally well with sweet and savoury ingredients, making chia an easy staple to keep in your kitchen.

Omega-3, fibre and protein

Chia seeds are naturally rich in the plant-based omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid, or ALA. Alpha-linolenic acid contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. At the same time, the seeds are high in fibre and high in protein. This makes chia easy to incorporate into a varied diet without needing complicated recipes or special preparation.

When chia meets liquid

One of chia’s most distinctive characteristics becomes visible as soon as the seeds come into contact with liquid: they absorb moisture, swell and develop their typical gel-like consistency. This is what makes them ideal for chia pudding, overnight oats and other soaked recipes. Combine the seeds with milk, a plant-based drink or another liquid, leave them to soak sufficiently and then add whatever you like – fruit, yoghurt, cocoa, nuts or your favourite sweetener. The same simple ingredient can become something different every day.

From breakfast to savoury bowls

Chia does not have to end up in pudding. Sprinkle the seeds over muesli, yoghurt, fruit or salads, add them to smoothies or use them to complement soups and spreads. Their mild flavour is a real advantage here: chia stays pleasantly in the background and combines easily with a wide range of other ingredients.

A versatile seed for baking too

Homemade bread, rolls or other baked recipes can also be complemented with chia. Add the seeds directly to your mixture or soak them in liquid first before using them in your recipe. This turns a tiny seed into an ingredient that can move easily from breakfast to bowls and all the way to homemade bread.

100% chia – and nothing else

No blend and no additional ingredients: Golden Peanut® Chia Seeds consist of 100% black and white Salvia hispanica seeds. As a natural agricultural product, the seeds may vary slightly in colour, size and appearance from harvest to harvest. That is simply part of working with a natural seed.

In your muesli today. In your bowl tomorrow. In homemade bread at the weekend.

That uncomplicated versatility is exactly what makes chia such an easy ingredient for everyday use. Omega-3, fibre and protein come together with a mild flavour and plenty of possibilities for your own recipes.
