NUR BIO® Organic Acacia Fiber

BALLASTSTOFF PULVER AUS DEM MILCHSAFT DES AKAZIENBAUMES
Description

Product information "NUR BIO® Organic Acacia Fiber"

Acacia fiber comes from the natural sap of the acacia tree, which is native to the warm regions of Africa. The resin, also known as “gum arabic,” emerges naturally when the bark of the trees has small cuts or cracks. The sap is collected by hand directly from the tree. It slowly hardens in the air into solid pieces. This traditional method is sustainable, as it does not damage the trees and allows them to continue producing sap for many years.

After harvesting, the solid pieces of resin are carefully cleaned, freed of natural particles, and then gently dried.

The raw material is then further processed in Germany: the dried material is ground into a fine, light-colored powder that consists of 90% fiber and is completely free of additives or auxiliary substances.

The result is a natural, pure plant powder made in Germany that impresses not only with its high quality but also with its gentle extraction process.

Nur Bio® Organic Acacia Fiber Powder is incredibly versatile: since it is tasteless, you can stir it into water, juice, or milk and enjoy your fiber drink without any worries. It is also ideal for mixing into smoothies, yogurt, muesli, or bowls.

And for extra fiber in sweet and savory recipes, simply use organic acacia fiber as an ingredient in your favorite baking and cooking recipes.

NurBio® Maca Powder
The maca plant has been cultivated for centuries in the highlands (Lepedium peruvianum Chacon) of the Peruvian Andes. It grows effortlessly despite storms and weather in the most barren landscape, where no other plant has a chance of survival. The superfood was already an important part of the diet of the Incas and served as a basic supply of all vital vitamins, minerals and trace elements. In Peru, maca is still consumed today by the indigenous population as a vegetable. The tuberous maca root has an excellent profile of around 60 different micronutrients, including protein, valuable fatty acids and secondary plant substances.NurBio® Maca powder comes exclusively from the highest growing areas (Junin Plateau at an altitude of approx. 4200 metres), where the most resistant plants grow. The Peruvian soil apple, also called Inca or Andean tuber, is carefully harvested in certified organic farms, then dried and grated. When processed into powder, maca is not heated above 40 °C and is therefore considered a raw food. The powder has a sweet taste and is therefore perfect as an ingredient in muesli, smoothies or porridge. Of course, the natural tasty powder is also suitable for preparing desserts of all kinds and as an ingredient in cooking and baking.Important note: China now also sells Maca powder grown there to Europe. Chinese products are clearly different from the Peruvian Maca root. Inferior maca products do not come from Peru and have a rather unpleasant taste and contain significantly fewer vital substances. The inferior products are often diluted with dextrose to improve the taste. Only maca powder from the Peruvian Andes has the much appreciated good properties and is often called "power root" by connoisseurs. So when buying Maca powder, make sure that the origin is stated. Only original Peruvian Maca is used for NurBio® Maca powder.

NurBio® Baobab fruit powder
NUR BIO® Baobab powder is obtained from the fruit of the baobab tree, which is native to the savannahs of Africa. The baobab tree is considered the most ancient of trees. It can live for several thousand years, grows up to 25 metres high and the diameter of its huge canopy can be over 20 metres. It takes around 20 years for a baobab tree to flower for the first time. Only then do the fruits form, hanging like lanterns in the branches. The tree is one of the most important sources of food for humans and animals, as it can store water and contains many nutrients. The fruit powder can be produced without any additives, as the baobab fruit contains very dry and brittle pulp. The fruit is only harvested when it is completely dry so that the fibres can be ground directly. Baobab powder has a fruity, sweet and sour flavour. It is therefore ideal for refining all kinds of dishes, for smoothies, as a topping for ice cream, salads, desserts and juices or stirred into dairy products or water on its own.The organic baobab fruit contains a wealth of vital substances such as polyphenols, vitamins, iron and antioxidants. In addition, with 280 mg of natural vitamin C per 100 g, it is a real vitamin kick and also scores highly in terms of flavour. The NUR BIO® brand stands for healthy nutrition that meets the highest standards in terms of sustainability and environmental protection. The carefully selected foods convince true connoisseurs of trendy cuisine with a focus on the essentials. This has also convinced the independent jury of GREEN BRANDS, so that we have just been awarded the GREEN BRANDS seal of approval 2023/2024.

Organic Yacon Syrup
The Yacon is a widespread plant in South America, one of the oldest useful plants. It is eaten as fruit in its home country as well as processed in other foodsweiter. Already with the Incas the tuber was used as a natural sweetener. The brown yacon root is pressd out to produce the completely natural, fresh and aromatic sugar substitute. The juice is thickened at 45 °C without weiterany additives and pasteurized to 80 °C by heating it briefly. This makes it very durable in a natural way. Due to its low glycemic index, Yacon Syrup is also suitable for diabetics to sweeten food and drinks. With only half the calories, Yacon Syrup is a very attractive alternative to household sugar.
