Product information "Golden Peanut® Indian Psyllium Husks 99% Ground"
Psyllium Husks are the seed shells of Plantago ovata, a plant native to India. The seeds are harvested by hand, sieved and gently dried. Indian Psylliumcontains slime-forming dietary fibres which swell on contact with liquid. Since these swelling substances can be found in the epidermis of the skin, it is separated from the seed by a special process and ground into a fine powder. Psyllium Husk Powderhas a swelling volume that is sometimes 8 times higher than that of the entire seed. The powder is usually dissolved in water or mixed with muesli or yoghurt.
Psyllium Husk Powder 99% has a swelling number of at least 80 ml/g. This specification describes the ability of dietary fibres to multiply their volume by absorbing water. Since the shells contain the highest proportion of swelling substances, Psyllium Husksup to 8 times as much swelling volume is present as the whole seeds. The high purity of powders ground Psyllium Husksto powder leads to an even higher source number, which can be up to 90 ml/g. Shelf life and storage
When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least 3 years after the production date.
Our products are always packaged in pre-packaged packages marked with a batch number and an MHD (imprint or additional label). Ingredients
Ground Indian psyllium husks (Plantago ovata) (100%)
Recommended intake
2-3 times daily, sprinkle 1/2 - 1 heaped teaspoon* into at least 500 ml of liquid and stir with a fork. Leave to soak for approx. 20 minutes and then drink, or mix the specified amount into muesli or yogurt. To mix the powder without lumps, first take a very small amount of the powder and add a drop of cooking oil if necessary. If the mixture becomes too thick, add more water. Drink plenty of liquid with it; do not consume dry!
*4 teaspoons (daily dose) = approx. 10 g
Note: Psyllium husk powder is mainly used in industry, for example to make baked goods. The powder is difficult to mix with liquid by hand. If you want a lump-free mixture, it is better to use psyllium husks.

Flohsamen
Ich finde es handelt sich um eine gute Qualität. Ich benutze es zu Ergänzung meines täglichen Müsli.
Es ist unkompliziert zu nutzen, einfach in den Joghurt geben und fertig. Es ist lange haltbar, somit kann man sich Zeit lassen.

The product looked clean with a beige appearance, I know that is a strange thing to say bit some people have complained that when they buy them they look grey and dirty looking so I was careful to order from a good company. These are a German brand and German products are synonymous with quality. I might have added too much to my yoghurt because it went all dry, not a problem because I added some milk. I must say they swell up in the stomach and make you feel very full. I would buy again as yet I have no problems with pains in my stomach which sometimes happens with certain food I eat! I will update this post to say if they helped with my weight loss!

Tolles Pulver, tolle Qualität.
An der Qualität des Flohsamenschalenpulvers kann man wirklich nicht meckern, es löst sich natürlich nicht auf Anhieb, aber wenn man einigermaßen umrührt, entstehen auch keine Klumpen.

The Indian Psylliumherb is an annual herb cultivated mainly in India and the Mediterranean. The erect plant forms a spike on the flowering branches as an inflorescence. The ripe seeds are harvested and processed into various qualities. Psylliumcontain gums that swell when they come into contact with water.
