Similar to maltodextrin, dry glucose is obtained from starch by hydrolysis and is therefore a starch saccharification product. Glucose is spray-dried and is a free flowing, fine, white powder. It is almost tasteless and moderately sweet.

In the food industry and in the manufacture of food supplements, dry glucose is also used as a thickener, filler, carrier or energy supplier. Drinks and spirits are often enriched with glucose because the product creates a pleasant feeling of mud.

Shelf life and storage

When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least 2 years after the production date.

Our products are always packaged in pre-packaged packages marked with a batch number and an MHD (imprint or additional label). Until the date of the MHD, the manufacturer guarantees the product's unchanged properties in terms of appearance, taste and processing behaviour. It is not an expiration date as is the case with fresh produce, for example.

Application

Gloria simply stirs dry glucose directly into the liqueur. She simply replaces liquid glucose syrup in recipes with glucose powder. For 1 liter of glucose syrup, chef Gloria uses 1 kg of dry glucose + 0.33 liters of water.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Ich habe mich an selbst gemachter Eiscreme versucht. Herkömmlichen Zucker habe ich mit der Trockenglukose ersetzt. Das Ergebnis war sensationell und hat nicht nur mich vom Hocker gehauen. Das Eis war cremig, wie beim Italiener. Für den bevorstehenden Sommer brauche ich wohl die 5kg Variante!

Perfekt!

Glukose ist perfekt um Eis (auch ohne Eismaschine) herzustellen. Gloria hat perfekt funktioniert!

Top für Eierlikör!

Das Leben muss ja weitergehen... deshalb kann ich diesen Likörzucker weiterempfehlen. Mein Eierlikör wird super cremig damit - das geht viel besser als mit normalem Zucker.

Maltitol Powder Maltina
The active Maltina pays close attention to her figure and, like her friends from the SWEETme clique, prefers less sweetness in bread, soups and co. Maltina therefore prefers to use maltitol because it is a delicious sugar substitute and has 40% fewer calories than sugar. Maltitol is produced from maltose by hydrogenation (addition of hydrogen).
