Product information "Chia Seeds Salvia hispanica black-white"
Chia seeds (Salvia hispanica) belong to the family of labiates and sage plants and are native to Mexico. They are still relatively unknown in Germany. In their homeland, on the other hand, the Aztecs used it as a staple food thousands of years ago.
Chia seeds, like Psylliumvaluable mucilaginous substances, swell to a gel when combined with water and increase their weight by a factor of nine to ten. They are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and many other vital substances. Chia seeds are extremely versatile and can be well integrated into your daily diet with numerous great recipe ideas. Whether they are sprinkled in salad or muesli or processed with bread dough, there are hardly any limits to the creativity of this food.
