Product information "Akticolon® pellets for horses"

Psyllium Husks are the seed shells of Plantago ovata, a plant native to India. The seeds are harvested by hand, sieved and gently dried. Indian Psylliumcontains valuable slime-forming dietary fibres which swell on contact with liquid. Since these swelling substances are found in the epidermis of the shell, it is separated from the seed by a special process and only the shells are offered as an independent product Psyllium Huskswith a swelling volume up to 5 times as high. Psyllium Husksare available in various degrees of purity. Psylliumproducts for horses are often manufactured with Psyllium Husks85% degree of purity

For the production of Golden Peanut Akticolon® pellets only Psyllium Husks95% food grade purity is used. This quality has a source number of at least 40 mg/litre and is comparable to products otherwise available in pharmacies and health food shops.

Why Psyllium Husksfeed?

The mucilages of the Psyllium Husksare released in conjunction with liquid. They bind sand and dirt deposits in the horse's intestinal tract and transport them to the outside. Sand is taken up by horses when meadows are eroded in autumn and winter, when paddocks are kept or when there are nutrient deficiencies. The absorbed sand is stored in the gastrointestinal tract of the horse and can cause colic. Interval feeding of more Psyllium Husksthan 30 days, several times a year, is therefore also recommended by veterinarians for the prevention of colic.

Shelf life and storage

When stored under dry, cool conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least 2 years after the production date.

Our products are always packaged in pre-packaged packages marked with a batch number and an MHD (imprint or additional label). Until the date of the MHD, the manufacturer guarantees the product's unchanged properties in terms of appearance, taste and processing behaviour. It is not an expiration date as is the case with fresh produce, for example.

Genial.

Wenn es diese Pellets nicht gäbe, müßte man sie erfinden.Sie wurden von meinem Pferd problemlos gefressen und taten ihre Wirkung. Kein Einweichen mehr, kein Bangen beim trocknen Verfüttern von Flohsamenschalen dass es eine Schlundverstopfung geben könnte. Einfach ins Futter und fertig.Ideal für alle Pferde bei denen man eine Sandablagerung im Darm verhindern oder entfernen möchte. Ich werde regelmäßig mein Pferd so eine Kur machen lassen.

Alles schön!

Habe längere Zeit nach so einem Produkt gesucht. Herr Pony mag nämlich das Gematschte nicht fressen. Dank dieser Pellets läuft die Fütterung problemlos. Auch die Dosierung ist kinderleicht. Immer wieder gerne!

Tut was es soll.

Mein Pferd frisst es mit etwas Müsli, ohne leider gar nicht. Aber es bewirkt, was es soll - feste Haufen, weniger Kotwasser. ?

Sehr schnelle Lieferung!

Produkt hält was es verspricht. Wurde von meinem Tierarzt abgesegnet und hilft meinem EMS / Cushing Pony super!!! Eine prima alternative zu den normalen Flohsamen die man Quellen lassen muss!!!

Top Verkäufer - die Pellets lassen sich sehr schnell und einfach verfüttern und das Resultat ist schnell zu erkennen. Für Sandfressende Pferde empfehlenswert. Einfache und saubere Verabreichung

Wird von Pferd gut gefressen, ob es wirkt kann ich nicht beurteilen. Die Handhabung ist super praktisch, die Pellets einfach untermischen.

Tolles Produkt! Endlich kommen die Flohsamen dahin wo sie hin gehören! Nämlich ins Pferd und bleiben nicht im Trog liegen.
